● If you've hiked in Spain, you've maybe had the chance to see them... the emblematic and fascinating Bouquetin Espagnol or Iberian Ibex, also known as the Spanish ibex, Spanish wild goat, or Iberian wild goat. This lovely little vintage ibex print shows a male ibex, proudly calling. They are famous for being excellent climbers, hanging onto the tiniest rocks in the middle of high cliff faces.
This wonderful book page comes from a French Swiss book published in 1970 called "Mammals of Europe", illustrated by the famous French naturalist Paul Barruel. Barruel's animal paintings are so lifelike !
Gift it to you favorite ibex lover!
