1960 Vintage partridge illustration

● Lovely little  French Vintage partridge poster from 1960. This partridge print shows two different species of partridges, the famous Bartavelle and the Gambra. 
This bird illustration is a book page from a French Swiss book published in 1960"Oiseaux nicheurs d'Europe", which means "Nesting birds of Europe". There is a short French description underneath the image, together with the names of the birds in French, partridge being perdrix in French. The authentic watercolor paintings are from French painter and naturalist Paul Barruel and are beautifully detailed. 

This lovely piece of vintage bird art is Ideal for a bird lover or a French classroom, or your own designs. This French vintage bird image would make perfect wall hangings for a bird  lover. You can also use them for your own scrap booking or collage projects.
