1959 White cottongrass botanical print

● If you love Alpine wildflowers, you will love this print. Eriophorum angustifolium, commonly known as common cottongrass or common cottonsedge, with its cotton-like white flowers. Doesn't this print have a very modern look?

The French name is Linaigrette à feuilles étroites (that means thin leaves) or Eriophorum angustifolium.

This lovely little botanical poster comes from an out-of-print Swiss book from 1959 in French called "Les fleurs de nos montagnes", which translates to "Flowers from our mountains", illustrated by O. and M. Baumberger.
