Lovely vintage cuckoo poster from a  a 1959 French  book "Oiseaux nicheurs d'Europe" (Nesting birds of Europe) illustrated by  French painter and naturalist Paul Barruel.  This lovely vintage bird print shows a grey cuckoo bird (Coucou gris in French or cuculus canorus L in Latin), known as the common cuckoo or the European cuckoo.
