● 1958 vintage print showing 2 specimen of Aloe: Aloe Marlothii, also known as Mountain aloe, and Alow Arenicola, also called Sand aloe. This charming botanical French antique print comes from an out-of-print 1958 French Swiss book "Plantes grasses", which means literally "fat plants", illustrated by Pia Roshardt.
● As usual in books from that editor, the print is glued onto the book page along its left edge, making a flap (the actual print is delineated in the second picture). The underlying page is made of thick white art paper and can serve as a mat. The back is printed as this is a book page.
● This French vintage plant illustration would make a perfect botanical wall hanging. You can also use it for your own scrap booking or collage projects.
● SIZE : Image approx. 14.3 x 17.8 cm (5.5" x 7"), page approx. 29 x 19 cm (7 1/4" x 11 1/4"), margins included.
● AUTHENTICITY :You will receive a book page from 1958 that comes from a damaged volume. The paper is slightly yellowed and there is a tiny discoloration in the upper margin.
