1949 Fish from Madrepore coral reefs print

Calling all  divers here... Isn't the world under the sea fascinating?
This colorful vintage fishes print features a selection of the kind of fishes which live in stony corals or hard corals (madrépores in French). Platax, Balistes, Ophichthys or Ostracion are represented here.
This marine fauna illustration comes from a vintage French 1949 entitled "La vie des animaux", which translates to "Animals' life".

AUTHENTICITY : This is a genuine book page from 1949, that comes from a damaged volume. The paper is somewhat yellowed and there is a light fold mark in the bottom right corner but the image itself is in very good condition.

SHIPPING : This print ships in a cellophane bag and a cardboard-reinforced envelope. The mat and frame are NOT included.
