1948 Cavalry Print

1948 Vintage uniform print, depicting the history of the French cavalry from the Gaulois people to the middle of the 20th century. This French vintage illustration comes from a 1948 French Larousse dictionary. The reverse is printed with lovely black and white engravings showing various cavalry activities. The last images on both page depict tanks, which replaced cavalry during the 20th century.
A must for horses' lovers, historians and military uniform specialists.
