Delightful book page Β from 1936, which illustrated the Uniforms article of a French Larousse dictionary (uniformes in French). Β
It shows all kinds of uniforms used in France in the first quarter of the 20th century, from the army to the navy to the civilian civil servants, including for example professors, lawyers, doctors, notaries, train drivers, ambassadors, customs officers or even boy scouts.
On the back, it shows in black and white details of decorations used in uniforms.Β
Don't you just love those old time uniforms?
This lovely page of naval history would look lovely framed for a marine history fan. It would also be perfect for your collages.
