1916 Hare Print - Lydekker

Lovely little antique Hare print from a 1916 natural history book entitled "Wildlife of the world" written by Richard Lydekker and illustrated by A. Weczerzick and W. Kuhnert (the author of this particular illustration).

This little vintage print is in very good condition, with a slight yellowing of the paper at the edges. It shows a pair of hares in a field. One hair is sitting upright, with its ears pointed and the other one is lying on the ground and looks like it hasn't shed its long thick winter fur yet. The printing techniques of the time gives them a very soft aspect.

Frame it and gift it to your favorite hare or rabbit lover.
