1916 Common Seal Print by Lydekker

Beautiful antique Common Seal print from a 1916 natural history book entitled "Wildlife of the world" by Richard Lydekker. The image is in very good condition, with a slight yellowing of the paper at the edges.
It shows part of a herd of seals on a sandy sunny beach, two of which almost look like they are nuzzling. And look at those blue waves!
The book was illustrated by A. Weczerzick and W. Kuhnert and the printing techniques of the time gives the prints a very soft aspect. This vintage animal illustration would make a perfect wall hanging for a marine animals lover.
