RARE FIND! Fascinating antique batracians print, extracted from a 1894 German Brockhaus dictionary.

This fascinating page shows black and white engravings of frogs and toads.
Among the species shown are the Horned Marsupial frog (Nototrema Marsupiatum), the Common Midwife toad (Alytes obstetricans), the Common toad (Bufo Vulgaris), the European tree frog (Hyla Arbora), the Surinam Horned frog (Ceratophrys cornuta) and the black-webbed treefrog, green flying frog, Reinwardt's flying frog or Reinwardt's treefrog (Racophorus Reinwardtii). The legend is in German.
