RARE FIND! Here is a fascinating antique medical print, extracted from a 1890 German Pierers dictionary. This lovely page illustrated the "Auge" article of the dictionary, which means eye in German. It shows the anatomy of the human eye on the front and surgical procedures on the reverse.
The legend is in German, in a gorgeous Gothic-style font.
Frame it in a double-sided reversible frame and gift it to your favorite eye doctor or medical student.
SIZE: page approx. 25.2 x 33.7 cm (9 7/8” x 13 1/4”) including margins, Image approx. 22,4 x 29.4 cm (8 3/4” x 11 1/2”).
AUTHENTICITY: What you will receive is an authentic dictionary page from 1890 that comes from a damaged volume. This is NOT a copy. The paper is yellowed, as befits its age but the engraving is in very good condition. ONLY ONE IN STOCK!
SHIPPING: These prints ship in a cellophane bag and a cardboard-reinforced envelope. The mat and frame are NOT included.
