Lovely piece of vintage botanical art from a French dictionary page representing a botanical illustration of flowers (fleurs in French). This antique print, illustrated by emblematic illustrator Adolphe Millot, was extracted from a 1897 Larousse French dictionary.
The front shows annual and bi-annual flowers like tulips, dahlias, irises or poppies. The reverse shows perennial flowers like asters, pelargoniums, nympheas/lotus or arums.
Frame it in a reversible frame and gift it to your favorite gardener to brighten their walls all year round.
This print is part of a pair. The other page of the pair is available here: https://www.frenchvintageprints.com/products/1897-antique-exotic-trees-bushes-flowers-botanical-print
