This vintage engraving is in German and shows intricately detailed botanical drawings on both sides explaining the structure of tree trunks and bark, from the concentric rings to the microscopic structure of the wood. And isn't that gothic font wonderful?
Frame it in a double-sided reversible frame and gift it to your favorite wood worker or botanist.
