The Leguminosae family at one glance

There are so many different types of plants and flowers it's mindbogling... Do you know them all? Here's a little help just for you.

This large botanics poster was made from Page 14 of a series of botanical book plates, which illustrated the "Botanique" article of a 1938 French Quillet dictionary.

The illustration was the fifth of a long series, which details all the main flowering plant families. It shows mostly the Fabaceae or Leguminosae, commonly known as the legume, pea, or bean family.

DId you know that the mimosa is one of them?

So many lovely flowers here!

Frame it and gift it to your favorite gardener or botanist for a deliciously retro office decor!

This poster was made by scanning an original 1938 botanics print at very high resolution. Some of the little printing defects which exist in the originals due to the technologies used at the time were kept, as they are part of the charm of these lovingly handcrafted antique prints.

The background on this print is off-white as it is part of the antique charm. The actual tint may vary a little depending on your monitor. Pure white is also available on request.
