Large framed square French butcher cuts poster reprint from 1952

Calling all meat lovers! If you love the sound of prime sizzling meat and the smell of the grill makes you salivate, this delightful print is perfect for you. You will know what all the French chefs know by heart, the names of the best beef, pork, veal or mutton cuts.

This interesting French poster is a reprint created from a 1952 French vintage print, which came, strangely enough, from a medical book entitled "Larousse médical".

Why was cattle included in there? Because at that time, these books were mainly intended for housewives, who were the first healers when doctors were not always readily available. The proper management of meat was thus considered an important health issue and so there is a long article is this little dictionary about it.

This poster was made by scanning an original 1952 poster at very high resolution. The images have been carefully edited but some of the printing defects present in the original have been kept as they are an important part of the charm of antique prints.
