This large format poster was created from an antique 1922 French Larousse dictionary. engraving.
It shows drawings of the most beautiful monuments and cities in Belgium in a blueish black and white. Brussels, Gand, Liège, Louvain, Anvers, it even shows the Manneken-Pis and the Halle des Drapiers and Befroi in Ypres, which were destroyed by bombing during the first word war.

This poster was made by scanning an original 1922 engraving print at very high resolution. Some of the little printing defects which exist in the originals due to the technologies used at the time were kept, as they are part of the charm of these lovingly handcrafted antique prints.
The background on this print is a delicate linen color with an antique feel, to keep the charming antique feel. The actual tint may vary a little depending on your monitor. Pure white is also available on request.
