1986 Vintage Passiflora Redouté Botanical Print

Beautiful floral illustration of the Winged-stem Passiflora vine (Passiflora Alata, also known as passion fruit), an evergreen vine which produces delicious edible passion fruits. This lovely flowers poster is a reproduction of a painting by famous 19th century French naturalist Pierre-Joseph Redouté.

This delicate piece of vintage botanical art comes from a luxury 1986 edition of Redouté's flowers and fruits, printed on thick art paper. The page is printed with the French name of the flower Passiflore Ailé at the bottom of the page. Ailé means winged in French.
