1970 Wild Cat Print

● Did you know that cats were not always the tame animals that we cherish in our homes?
Vintage animal print depicting the European wildcat (Felis silvestris), with its bushy rounded tail.  This vintage wildlife illustration is a book page from a book French Swiss book published in 1970 "Mammifères d'Europe", which means Mammals of Europe, illustrated by French naturalist Paul Barruel.

Each page is printed with the French name of the species that are presented.
