Lovely bright purple vintage rose poster showing a rosebush called Roseraie de l'Haÿ, named after a famous rose garden in a suburb of Paris.

This beautiful floral illustration comes from a 1962 an out-of-print French book soberly titled "Roses"., illustrated with a delicacy and accuracy by Anne-Marie Trechslin. The print itself is a flap, glued onto the book page.

𝗦𝗜𝗭𝗘 : Images approx. 17 x 23 cm (6 1/4" x 8 3/4"), pages approx. 30 x 19,7 cm (7 3/4" x 11 3/4"), margins included. The third picture shows the actual image, the second the whole page.

The image itself is glued onto the book page along its left edge, making a flap. The underlying page is made of thick white art paper and can serve as a mat. The back is printed as it is a book page and the name of the variety is printed at the back of the flap.
