1962 La France Pink Roses botanical print

● Here is a very delicate piece of botanical art : Vintage pink roses poster presenting the beautiful pink rose named La France.

This beautifully detailed vintage floral print is a reproduction of a watercolor by Anne-Marie Trechslin, a Swiss painter internationally recognized for her flowers and animals. This antique rose print was found in an out-of-print 1962 French Swiss book named "Roses". 

The La France rose dates back from 1867 and is considered to be the first hybrid tea rose and thus the ancestor of all modern roses.

The roses look so real ! These French vintage pink floral illustrations would make a perfect wall hanging for a roses or a monarchy lover. A perfect memento for your romantic French trip!
