1961 Goldfinch, siskin & redpoll bird print

● French Vintage bird print from 1961 showing 4 species of goldfinches: the Common goldfinch, the Eurasian siskin (also known as black-headed goldfinch, barley bird or aberdevine), the Arctic redpoll and the common redpoll. The birds are represented at about 2/3 of their natural size.

This birds illustration is a book page from a French Swiss book published in 1961 "Oiseaux nicheurs d'Europe", which means "Nesting birds of Europe", illustrated by Walter Linsenmaier.

Frame it and hang it in your home for a lovely bird gallery wall.

● 𝗦𝗜𝗭𝗘 : page approx. 29 x 19,7 cm (7 3/4" x 11 1/4"), margins included. Image approx. 17.6 x 21 cm (7" x 8 1/4" ).

● As usual in books from that period, the print is glued onto the book page along its left edge, making a flap. The underlying page is made of thick bouffant paper. The back is printed as these are book pages.
