● 1954 vintage print of a beautiful Gymnocalycium baldianum, also known as the spider-cactus or dwarf chin cactus. in full bloom. This specie of cactus is native to Argentina.

This lovely French antique cactus poster comes from an out-of-print 1954 French Swiss book entitled "Cactus". The authentic watercolors were painted by Pia Roshardt and are beautifully detailed.

● 𝗔𝗨𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 :You will receive an actual book page from 1954 that comes from a damaged volume. The paper is slightly yellowed.

● As usual in books from that period, the print itself is glued onto the book page along its left edge, making a flap (the actual print is delineated in the second picture). The underlying page is made of thick white art paper and can serve as a mat. The back is printed as this is a book page.
