The scent of freshly machined metal, the glinting metal shavings, the lovely gleam on a finished piece, a dusty workshop with a patient metal worker bent over his work and his pride over handmade finished pieces... this lovely print evokes just that!
This page, which illustrated the "Machine Outils" article of a 1938 French Quillet dictionary (machine tools or machinery in French) shows a large selection of the first machine tools which were used at the time. Every tool and some of the individual parts of each machine are labeled in French.
The reverse is printed with other dictionary articles.
Frame it and gift it to your favorite metal worker or mechanic for a timeless workshop decor!
