1916 Mountain Hare Print - Lydekker

Antique Mountain hare (lepus timidus) print from a 1916 natural history book entitled "Wildlife of the world" written by Richard Lydekker and illustrated by A. Weczerzick and W. Kuhnert (the author of this particular illustration).

This little vintage print is in very good condition, with a slight yellowing of the paper at the edges. It shows a band of white furry hares in a white snowy field. Isn't that great camouflage? The printing techniques of the time gives them a very soft aspect.

Frame it and gift it to your favorite hare or rabbit lover.
