1916 Lion Print by Lydekker

Antique lion print from a 1916 natural history book entitled "Wildlife of the world" by Richard Lydekker. It shows a male lion and a lioness in the grasslands (Panthera leo).
The book was illustrated by A. Weczerzick and W. Kuhnert and the printing techniques of the time (chromolithography) gives the prints a very soft aspect. This vintage animal illustration would make a perfect wall hanging for an exotic animals lover.
