1916 Chameleon, Horned Viper & Sacred Beetle Print - Lydekker

Antique chameleon print from a 1916 natural history book entitled "Wildlife of the world" by Richard Lydekker. It shows 3 species of wild animals from Africa : a rainbow Chameleon (Agama), a Sacred Beetle and a Horned Viper.

The book was illustrated by A. Weczerzick and W. Kuhnert and the printing techniques of the time give the prints a very soft aspect. This vintage animal illustration would make a perfect wall hanging for an exotic animals lover.
