Lovely little antique polar bear print standing on an ice float, from a 1916 natural history book entitled "Wildlife of the world" written by Richard Lydekker and illustrated by A. Weczerzick and W. Kuhnert (the author of this particular illustration).
This little vintage print is a chromolithograph and is in very good condition, with a slight yellowing of the paper at the edges. It shows a bunch of white polar bears hunting on the ice.
The main subject of the illustration has obviously just caught a seal. The printing techniques of the time gives them a very soft aspect.
Frame it and gift it to your favorite Polar Bear lover.
