1889 Antique Paris Conciergerie lithograph by Auguste Vitu

The most beautiful city in the world on your walls... Another gorgeous 1889 Paris panorama, extracted from a 1889 book titled *Paris : 450 drawings*, illustrated by Auguste Vitu.

This lovely little engraving is entitled "Palais de Justice". It shows the Justice Hall in exquisite architectural details.

The building is called La Conciergerie. Situated in the heart of Paris, on the banks of the Seine, it is the oldest remaining part of the Palais de la Cité, the royal residence of the kings of France and was used as a prison during the French Revolution. 

The reverse is printed as this was part of a book page.

This vintage Paris panorama would look lovely framed, for a Paris decor or as a Paris gift.
